Lack of knowledge about what? Flunking a math test? Not being the best reader? Not knowing how to play the stock market? NO - lack of knowledge about God! See where it plainly states that they back slid away from God? hmmm I guess it might be possible, that must be why those preachers say if you have gotten away from Him and you want to get back to Him and get your life back on track then repent and pray this prayer... Look where it says God withdrew Himself. Oh no, I thought God would just stick around no matter how I treated Him and even if I just totally ignore Him. He understands if I don't read His Word or pray and stuff like that because He knows I have such a busy life. If you think like that, you are deceived by satan. Stop it and get back to God! The last verse shows that He left altogether and said that they will have to acknowledge what they did wrong and seek His face. Not His hand - I want..... But His face, I love You, You are worthy of all my praise, I am so sorry I left You, please forgive me, please come and be with me and this should all be poured out to the one Lord, Jesus Christ!!
Oh girl, that is Old Testament and now we have Jesus and the Holy Spirit comes and lives on the inside and He will never leave us. Deceived. Please understand that a Holy God is not going to tolerate you just ignoring Him and living in sin doing whatever you want to and not submitting to His Lordship. He gave His life for you. He wants you to give your life to Him to use you in a mighty way for His glory and honor and kingdom. He wants you to freely love Him and praise Him and spend time with Him.
