Have you ever tried to talk to someone about the Lord and they get angry? You can feel the anger rising up in them. That is a good indication that they are not walking with God. You know what Jesus said to do when you witness to someone and they don't receive what you say? He said when you leave to shake off the dust of your feet. (paraphrased Matt:10:14)

Have you ever been talking about the Word of the Lord with a Christian and they get angry just like the person who doesn't know God?

hmmmm I sure have. Your spirit should speak to you right then and there that something is not right. Our Holy Spirit is our spiritual radar, and He tells us these things. Look out, beware, stay away, etc. You get feelings inside when you know something isn't right.

So what do you do about these people who don't know the Lord or whose walk isn't right? Well first, do exactly what Jesus said to do, and shake that dust off and leave. Then pray for them. Pray for God to open their spiritual eyes and ears and for Him to draw them to the feet of Jesus. Ask the Good Lord to bring the angry Christian into a right relationship with Him.

Ever feel like a failure trying to witness to someone? Don't!!! God's Word will not return void. You (He through you) sent it out and it will accomplish that which He pleases, and it shall prosper in the thing (person) whereto He sent it. Isaiah 56:11

Did Jesus ever feel like we do with someone not receiving His witness? Oh you better believe it! Remember the rich man, after Jesus told him how to inherit eternal life, the rich man was very sad. Want to know were the anger comes from or in this case the sadness? Not wanting to O B E Y. I don't want to forsake my sin so I don't want to know about your Lord. Same thing when a Christian shows anger, that is their flesh in control, not the Holy Spirit who is inside. None of us are perfect, but we should be striving to be like Jesus.
