Today at the zoo, Kennedy and her daddy rode the carousel. As I was waiting on them and watching the crowd, God began to speak to me. I love to people watch. I noticed the smiles on everyone's faces. Here we all were at a place that is for leisure and entertainment. Everyone was there to have fun and enjoy themselves. Parents with kids, grandparents too and some were on dates or just hanging out with friends. I noticed
that no matter the race or nationality, everyone wanted the same things, to enjoy themselves and to see their kids have fun. No matter the language spoken or the color of the skin, everyone was taking pictures and trying to get the perfect shot of their kid smiling. No words are needed to interpret these things.
As I watched the carousel going round and round with mamas and daddys holding their babies on the animals bobbing up-n-down, and pictures being snapped, I began to think about how many people there knew Jesus. Heaven was on my mind. I was thinking to myself, heaven has the most awesome rides we can imagine. That is the place that you want to take your family and loved ones to. That is where true smiles will abound. That is where the heart will rejoice and peace will flow. No long lines, no tired sweaty people and no looking in the habitat for the animal and never spotting him! lol I thought about what Prophetess Mena Lee shared recently. Jesus told her that out of every 10 people who call Him Lord and pray to Him, He only knows 1. So looking at that crowd of people, I knew the odds were not good of seeing those smiles in heaven. Oh yes, small kids who do not understand about accepting or rejecting Jesus as their sacrifice, yes they will go to heaven if they were to die that young or Jesus comes back while they are that young. But for everyone who is old enough to understand about the blood He shed and the life He gave for us...if they reject Him - hell awaits their soul.
All those people just wanted to have fun today. No fighting, just see the beautiful animals God created and enjoy the day. So why don't we strive to make heaven our priority? God loves His children, He wants to see smiles on our faces and in our hearts. He loves days like today and wants us to have them all the time for eternity.
But as it is written, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. I Cor. 2:9
Jesus is coming back so soon. He's calling you to come to Him. He created you and He loves you. Please get to know Him, that's the most important thing you'll ever do in this life. God bless you all.
