BLANK - JESUS

The other day I read something that just made me righteously mad. Someone is being persecuted, tortured and in pain. So they cursed Jesus and then shared a "plan" and asked people to pray. Pray to who or what? You just blasphemed Jesus, so the Father isn't listening - that's for sure. Can satan break you? Can he bring enough pain or heart ache against you to make you hate God? What if it goes on for years and years and you cry out to God and never see a break or get any relief? Would you do what Job's wife told him to do - "curse God and die."?? What if you don't get delivered after asking God? Did you know that if God never does one more thing for any of us that He has already done enough in sending Jesus to die for our sins? Did you know the Bible says that you will be tested and tried? ...though now for a season, if need be, you are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6b Can you make it through the fire? If satan kills your child, if he cripples you, if he shatters your mind, if he tortured you every single day with electronic weapons, if you don't see a break through from alcoholism, if you pray for healing and it doesn't come, if you lose all your money, if you were raped daily, if you lose all your friends, and you asked God for help and He never came, seemed no deliverance came - would you still have faith? Would you still love Jesus? Or do we only love Him when life is pain free and everything is going our way? Did you know John the Baptist began to doubt if Jesus was really the Messiah as he sat in jail and did not see deliverance. He lost his life and he served God all his life, dedicated from birth. He beheld Jesus and heard the Father speak over Him and saw Holy Spirit come down and rest on Him. For all his dedication to God, he was not delivered but was beheaded. Can you be broken by satan? Please call on Jesus even in the midst of pain, in your darkest hour, even if your answer does not come - He is there and in the end - eternity in heaven will have been worth it all. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Cor. 12:9
